Deleting Existing Records: A Comprehensive Guide

In the lifecycle of any app, there often arises a need to remove certain records. Whether it’s for the purpose of decluttering outdated information or simply keeping your database streamlined, deleting records is a crucial task.
In Codeless ONE, we’ve streamlined this process to ensure it’s efficient and user-friendly.
Here’s how you can go about it:

Method 1: Single Record Deletion

Locating the Record: First, identify the record you wish to delete.

(Demonstrating how to delete using the Split view, we’ll remove a record.)

Initiating Deletion: Click on the Ellipsis button, next to the record.

Click ellipsis button

Select the Delete option from the popup menu.

Select Delete option

Proceed with Caution: Upon selecting ‘Delete‘, a confirmation message will appear. This is a safeguard to ensure you don’t accidentally remove important data. Click on the red Delete button to proceed.

Confirming the deletion permanently removes the record from your app, making it neither visible nor retrievable.

Irreversible Action: Keep in mind that deletion, whether single or bulk, is irreversible. Once you delete records, they are permanently removed. It’s always wise to double-check before confirming any deletion.
By offering both single and bulk deletion options, Codeless ONE provides you with flexibility and control in managing your app’s data. Whether it’s a single piece of outdated information or a large batch of records, our platform ensures that your data management is both efficient and secure.
