Inviting users to a Workspace
Initially it may seem a bit odd that you would want someone ELSE to work in your workspace or on your application. However, in today’s information age, no digital solution is truly isolated.
You may want to invite other users to work on your workspace/application:
- To get feedback from a client
- To get assistance from a co-worker
- To give full control to a fellow who would work as an administrator etc.
Workflow
Happy Path Steps
Step 1: Workspace owner invites a person (non CodelessONE user)
Step 2: The invited person clicks the link in the email and is redirected to the registration page
Step 3: The invited person registers a CodelessONE account and logs into the system becoming a registered user
Additional Steps
Step 4: The Workspace owner adds the user to the relevant app. (Not discussed here)
Special Case Steps
In case the available subscriptions have dried up then the Workspace owner needs to manage the subscriptions to provide one for the invited user.
Detailed steps
Step 1: Workspace owner invites a person
On the Workspace page, click the Invite User icon.
Provide email of the prospective user.
Select the desired role for the user being invited.
Note: The role decides what privileges and rights would the user have and what restrictions they might face.
Click the Send Invite button.
As soon as the Send Invite button is clicked, an email is sent to the relevant person.
Step 2: Invited person clicks the link
At the receiving end, the invited person clicks the Accept Invitation button in the email.
Step 3: Registration and logging into the system
Clicking the button takes the user to the signup page for Codeless ONE.
Enter all the required information and click the Complete Registration button.
The new user is taken to the Organizations page.
Click the organization name.
The user is taken to the Organization’s home page.
The invitation process is now complete.
Rarely, instead of the organization’s page, the following page is displayed.
This is due to the lack of available licenses for the said organization. You should contact the person who invited you in the first place. The process to manage subscriptions is elaborated here.
