The Dashboard feature is a powerful and essential data visualization tool in Codeless ONE. It allows users to present information in a highly intuitive and visually engaging manner, making complex data easy to understand. The clarity and impact achieved through dashboards surpass what is possible with other tools or features within the platform.
At the core of this visual-driven functionality are Widgets, which act as the building blocks of the dashboard. Widgets enable users to display specific information in unique and customizable formats, catering to a wide range of needs and preferences. By selecting the most appropriate widgets, users can tailor their dashboards to effectively communicate insights and track key metrics.
Each widget serves a distinct purpose, offering various ways to visualize data, such as charts, graphs, tables, and indicators. Together, these widgets transform raw data into actionable insights that users can easily interpret and act upon.

The Dashboard option is the first option in the Codeless ONE menu bar. Clicking on this Dashboard option, shows the Dashboard Canvas.
Initially the Dashboard Canvas is an empty page, even without the Dashboard Widgets. Users have to click the Edit toggle button, to show the Widgets panels
The widgets available for use in the dashboard are displayed.
Users can click on the desired widget to create the relevant element on the Dashboard Canvas.
Each widget operates through its own dedicated panel, which contains a set of controls designed to configure and customize the widget’s behaviour. These controls allow users to provide essential information, such as data sources, filters, parameters, or display preferences, ensuring the widget is tailored to meet specific needs.
Once configured, the widget dynamically extracts the relevant information from the records stored within the application. This data is then processed and used to generate a corresponding visual or functional element, which is displayed on the dashboard canvas. This seamless integration between the widget’s panel and the application records ensures that the dashboard remains interactive, up-to-date, and aligned with the user’s requirements.
After Widgets are added to the canvas, each Widget element can be moved or resized.

An application can have multiple dashboards. Users can create separate dashboards for different users of the application. To create a new dashboard (while having an existing one), click the + New Dashboard button.
Enter Name and Description for the new dashboard and click the +Create button.
