How to Delete a Portal in Your Application

Portals can be created to serve specific, time-bound purposes. For instance, a company might develop a portal to facilitate the creation and management of an advertising campaign. Once the campaign is completed and its objectives are achieved, the portal may no longer be necessary. In such cases, it becomes prudent to decommission or delete the portal.

Deleting a portal can offer several benefits. It can help to streamline a company’s digital infrastructure, reducing complexity and potential security risks. Additionally, it can free up valuable resources, such as server space and maintenance time. By eliminating unnecessary portals, businesses can improve efficiency and focus their efforts on more critical initiatives.

An important point to remember here is that we can only delete portals that have been disabled. Active portals can not be deleted. If you want to delete a portal make sure it has already been disabled, or disable it now before proceeding further. If you want to know how to disable a portal, it is discussed here.
