As your App grows and evolves, you might find some objects no longer serve their purpose. Deleting them is straightforward, ensuring your App remains clutter-free.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to remove objects from your application:
Before anything else, you need to be on the right page:
To access the Object Page, navigate to ‘Settings‘ at the top left, click on ‘Application Settings‘, and select the ‘‘App Model’ .
Method 1: Bulk Delete Option
For those who wish to clean up multiple objects at once:
Selection: Locate the checkbox next to each object name. Check all the objects you intend to remove.
Initiate Deletion: At the page’s top, you’ll find a ‘Delete‘ button.
Clicking this prompts the system to flash a warning, ensuring you’re certain about your decision.
Confirmation: To finalize the deletion process, hit the “Delete” button once more.
Method 2: Individual Object Deletion
This method allows for a more selective approach:
Locate the Object: Within the Object Page, spot the button on the right.
Reveal Options: Clicking this button unveils two choices – ‘Delete‘ and ‘Revert Changes‘.
Initiate Deletion: Opt for the ‘Delete‘ choice. As a safety measure, the system will again ask for your confirmation through a warning message.
Confirmation: Affirm your decision by pressing the “Delete” button.
Finalizing Your Actions
Post-deletion, ensure your changes are actively reflected in your app. Navigate to the top right corner and click the Update App button. This command integrates all alterations into your application, making it current and streamlined.
Remember, it’s always a good practice to double-check before deleting any objects, as this action could impact data and functionality related to that object.
