Are you thinking about creating your own app but need help knowing where to begin? Codeless ONE has got you covered. With the help of Alice AI, you can create an app from scratch without learning to code. Here’s a simple guide to get you started.
First things first, sign up for Codeless ONE. It’s straightforward – just like creating a social media account. Once you sign up, you’ll get a Workspace ID. Think of this as your personal app-making ID.
Head to Your Workspace
After signing up, you’ll go straight to your App Workspace. It’s the place where all your app creation happens. Ready to start? Just click on the big “+ New App” button.
Name and Describe Your App
Now, if you want to build your app from the ground up, a form will pop up. Here’s where you name your app and give it a description. The more precise your description the better, Alice AI can help you in the following steps
Meet Alice AI
After hitting “Next,” Alice AI comes into play.
Based on what you named and described your app, Alice will suggest a bunch of objects and properties that you might need. If you’re making a fitness app, it might suggest objects like “Workout,” “Nutrition,” or “Progress Tracker and more.
Explore Objects and Properties
You can click on each suggested object to see what properties it has. Want more options? Click “Show more,” and Alice AI will offer additional suggestions tailored to your app’s name and description.
Pick What You Need
To choose an object and their properties, check or uncheck it. It’s like shopping with a checkbox list.
Customize Your Properties
If you need specific options for a dropdown menu in your app, you can add these easily. Click “Edit Dropdown values,”.
To add your new options, Click on “+ Dropdown Value”
Enter the Additional Values and once done, hit “save.”
If you change your mind, removing an option is as simple as clicking an “x” button.
Set Up Object Relations
Now, it’s time to decide how these objects relate to each other. Click on “Next” Button.
Alice AI will show you the best options.
For example, in a fitness app, your “Fitness Goal” object might have a one-to-many relationship with “Workout” because one Fitness Goal will have multiple workout sessions.
Add Reference Properties
If needed, you can add reference properties. These are extra bits of information that link objects together, like linking a Fitness Goal to their specific workout plan.
Altering Relationship Cardinality
To modify the relationship cardinality type within the suggested object relations, simply click on the existing cardinality label. A dropdown menu will then appear, presenting alternative cardinality options for you to choose from. Select the desired cardinality type from this menu to make the change.
Selecting Object Relations
To choose the object relations you want to include in your app, simply click on each recommended object relation. A selection will be made or removed depending on whether the relation was previously chosen. Make sure to review each relation to ensure it fits the structure and functionality of your app. When satisfied with the object relations, click the Next button.
Object Representation Methods
The last step is used to configure the object representation methods in the app. By default, Table and Split View are selected. Additionally, users can represent their desired objects using Kanban, Calendar, and Cards.
Launch Your App
Once you’ve made your selections, you can proceed to the final step of creating your app. Click “Create App,” and voilà!
The app is created and the default portal is shown. Click the portal name to proceed.
Your app will be ready and waiting in your Workspace, with all the objects that were selected during the wizard.
Now, you and your team can start adding content, managing details, and using your app in daily operations.
Note: All the objects you add are automatically organized in a default portal made by the system, making it easy to navigate and manage.
